In an exciting rematch of a game earlier in the day, Great Valley 4th Grade Boys faced off against Shoot Hoops. Shoot Hoops managed to come back from an early deficit and sharp shooting from Great Valley to take the crown in the 4th grade boys division.

MLGBA was able to stay perfect in the tournament and beat Springfield in the 4th grade girls championship 17-12. MLGBA’s great ball movement and solid shooting was able to withstand Springfield’s intense defensive pressure to take home the victory.
5th Grade Boys -Shoot Hoops - Black
5th Grade Boys -Shoot Hoops – Black
The boys 5th grade championship pitted two undefeated teams against one another, Shoot Hoops Black and the Great Valley Vipers. Shoot Hoops Black started hot with full court pressure before the Great Valley Vipers found their footing, trading back and forth blows for the remainder of the game. Ultimately, Shoot Hoops Black was able to maintain their lead wire to wire after a late push by the Great Valley Vipers.
5th Grade Girls -Spring Ford
5th Grade Girls -Spring Ford
The 5th grade girls championship pitted the two undefeated teams in the division against each other, Great Valley and Spring Ford. In a tight back and forth battle, Great Valley led by 5 at the end of the 3rd quarter, but could not hold on in the closing minutes, with Spring Ford edging out the win 31-28.

The 6th grade boys MARA team went undefeated and captured the championship defeating Shoot Hoops 62-56 in the Rockin Around the Rim Tournament finals this past weekend. 3 point shooting was on display by both teams in a high scoring championship game.
6th Grade Girls -Great Valley Diamonds
6th Grade Girls -Great Valley Diamonds
The 6th grade Great Valley Diamonds battled to a championship in the Rockin Around the Rim tournament this past weekend. They had a tough rematch against Governor Mifflin and found themselves down 9-3 after the first quarter. The Diamonds battled back with great team defense, rebounding and played very composed against an aggressive full court press the entire game. In the final minutes of the game Great Valley pulled away and won 33-27.
